Artist William Rosewood (b. 1992) invites us to see the almost indestructible power of nature. The rebellious Willem de Kooning Academy artist uses unique precision techniques to depict this beauty and richness. His work has an international clientele: purchased by, among others, private collectors and through exhibitions in the UAE, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Cape Town, Brussels, Art Basel, Frieze Art Fair, and the Huygens Museum.
William worked for three months on this panel; 10,000 handmade petals – 625 daisies, 30 of them with Cadmium dark red core in honor of the 30th anniversary of ‘The Amsterdam Dinner.’ The love story hides the self-portrait of an artist who marvels at nature.
Especially for the Amsterdam Dinner, TERTIUS GALLERY, in collaboration with its resident artist William Rosewood.

William Rosewood

William Rosewood’s art embodies the role of humans versus nature and its resilience in a magical forms.

William discovered the world of art when he was little. He attended the prestigious Dutch Willem de Kooning Academy, learning the artistry of statue and image-making.

Rosewood developed a particular interest in exploring and pushing the limit of what is possible. This expressed itself not only in painting, but also in experimenting with different materials.

Rosewood has a characteristic style in which he combines the usage of unconventional materials with large visualisations.
